Glass Sculpture

Revision is functional sculpture made of stainless steel and glass that combines elements of design with metaphorical meaning. The word revision relates to the act of seeing, which is a strong element of this sculpture as the glass canopy acts as a layer of lenses that capture and transform light. The vivid light creates a relaxing environment and simulates the feeling of immersion that is experienced in the pool.

Revision represents a new direction in my work, an exploration of the phenomenon of sculpture as architecture and as a space of experience. Revision is a significant for me because it exists both as an aesthetic form and as a transformative space that can be physically entered.
